Defining God Beyond Traditional Limits 0:00
Yeah, of course it's limiting to say that God has to be God, because any type of thing that you're going to make of God is already definition. Usually when you say God, you mean ז״א of אצילות. God doesn't have to be ז״א of אצילות, that's ridiculous. ז״א of, and ז״א of, you know what, ז״א of אצילות is no better than a moldy tuna sandwich.
It's all the same. ז״א is just as limited as the sandwich, the sandwich is just as infinite as ז״א, you know. Just that השם set it up that it looks like this one is above and this one is below and it's like this hierarchy, but it's really not.
And that's the שורש, that's what that's the שורש of the חוצפה of the קליפה, because it feels like, "Hey man, I'm just as good as any big צדיק."
And there's a truth to it. That's why they get the יניקה from, they get their יניקה from because they have a high they have a higher source, from like תוהו and stuff like that.
Doesn't have to be. That's the big טענה. It doesn't have to be. Doesn't have to be that way. So that's the thing, they say, "Well, doesn't have to be that, you know, God wants you to be nice and not kill people and not to steal and murder and, you know. Doesn't have to be. God can make it a מצוה."
And so therefore they say, "So that means I can do whatever I want, because really God could make anything good." So that's they they they that's the שבירה comes in, they say, because it could be. They don't realize just because it could be doesn't have to be, doesn't mean that it's not.
The Fallacy of Unlimited Moral Freedom 1:25
That's the way it is, though. God made it that way. That's the whole point, that God doesn't have to do anything in any way, but that same power has the opposite side which we're saying now, that He can choose to make it whatever He wants.
And that's also equally infinite. And so if He chooses to make a certain way, it's just as infinite as the fact that He doesn't have to make it that way. And so He can make it infinitely important, infinitely מדקדק, and infinitely essential.
Even the most stupid, little, minute thing, they say, "What does God really care if, you know, the middle leaf of my לולב is split an extra centimeter or something, so it's פסול? You know,
what does God care?" You say, "Yeah, God cares, and it makes an infinite difference. Has to be exactly this way, or else it's nothing."
So that's the but they have their that's the שורש of their יניקה cause they only take one side. And either side, if you take one side without the other, it's always going to make a עבודה זרה.
