Don’t Get Stuck on Chapter Ten 0:01
Yeah, פרק י is a wonderful thing, but it's best when it's behind you.
You know what I mean? Because especially people get, some people get caught up in פרק י, and they learn it over and over and over and over, you know, which in a way is good, cuz it's hard and you have to really understand it, it's very important. But the rest of the book is helping you understand it. You're so you're not gonna understand it until you learn the whole book.
Yeah, a lot of people do it. So it's very important to learn how to learn the גירסא. And learn through the whole thing first, and then go back.
And even the second time you shouldn't learn פרק י ten times before learning פרק יא. Should learn through the whole book a few times, like three times or four or five times, just each chapter once. And each every time you do that you should think of how the rest of the book helps you understand this and try to get understand a little better. But if you still have questions on that chapter, make note of them, mentally or write them down or whatever, and go on through the book.
And after you go through the book a few times and you noticed, and you know, you you you will answer a lot of questions just by doing that. If you have any questions left, then you could go back and study each chapter a few times. But you should still like study each chapter three times and then move on, because there's you're always gonna find new questions that need answered.
Review, Note, and Return to Questions 1:31
But the best way to get them answered is to see, you know, you have to understand the whole book together, it helps.
Also, it helps, there's a certain point that it's not gonna help you to sit and learn like that. You have to teach it to understand better, and or even if not teach it, you have to talk about it with other people and discuss it. And and
then there's a certain point where even teaching it and discussing it won't help, and you have to live it. And the only way you'll understand it is if you actually experience this in your life.
And every single ענין in every single chapter has certain practical applications that if by living in that way, that lets you experience that ענין.
And that's the real point of the ענין is. The real thing we're trying to do by getting to explain you this stuff is not just to tell you intellectual things, but that it should be a real thing of, you know, in the world.
