Adam as a fertilized egg and stem cells 0:00

In other words, what happened is when God made אדם, so he started off, it was kind of like like a fetus when it's first conceived, it's just like this little cell and it's one cell little thing, it's just that was just its fertilized egg. And now it has the whole potential for the person in it, but it's all undefined.

Then it starts to divide, it split, and divide itself into a whole bunch of different cells, but they're all the same. And then it makes itself like a ring, and then that ring starts to get twisted in like it becomes like a like a like a hollow ball, I mean, and then it starts like to make itself into different shape or, you know, get made into different shapes.

Then then those shapes eventually are going to become like the different organs and the cells start to like after a certain point start to specialize and become the cells of each of the different kind of organs. But they start off all the same, just like one cell, and then even when it starts splitting, it's all the same. And then there's a certain point where it starts to like become specialized, but it it's still like able to change.

That's like the like stem cells and stuff, you know, that they that there's much more of them in like, you know, fetuses and stuff like that. That's the whole controversy, you know, is it moral to kill a fetus to take the stem cells for research and stuff like that. And then as the it develops, it becomes more and more specialized until there's like most of the cells become very set, and under normal circumstances they will not change.

Specialization of cells and nations over time 1:22

And then they're only certain very few cells that are able to change and become any cell, although under extreme circumstances, I think that any cell can be changed to a different cell, like if like certain things happen to it, it can be changed. So, this is the way it is with the history of man, that אדם started off was like this one-celled, fertilized thing.

And then, first, he just split into a bunch of people, you know, and all the nations, and they were all the same, you know, very little difference. Then they started just being dispersed and getting gathering in these little groups. And then as they started to separate, they started to become more specialized, and each group started to develop certain characteristics, you know what I mean, and like a certain that like were distinct, and they started becoming like different nations that had certain characteristics and they had their own languages and and became more and more distinct.

Abraham as the first full‑blown Jew 2:31

And then with אברהם, there there's a certain point where like each nation it became exclusive and it's like that each nation have a certain trait, a certain job that they do in the world, and a certain role that they play, and they develop a certain nature to correspond to that. And אברהם was the first development of like a full-blown Jew, which is like corresponds like the nerves in like the body that connects like consciousness of God.

And so from him on, it became something that was that was not a changeable thing, but that was like set. That's what he was. And so all of his, you know, descendants through יצחק and יעקב have that characteristic, that's it, it's like innate. And then at מתן תורה it became totally set because in before מתן תורה like it was much easier for them if somebody wanted to convert, and then after מתן תורה it became totally set.

Also for the other nations it became totally set, and just through in very extreme circumstances could somebody like convert and they'd become Jewish, but it's not like the normal thing.
