And the מקיף, which is the source of the external vessels and is what gives the ability to have two opposites, to have like this type of a miracle, is also that that's also the source that makes the

division that separates things to make them opposites. That comes from the קו המדה. Like we said, the קו המדה has two opposite things. It divides everything and connects everything. And it's really one thing that because it makes the divisions, therefore it can make the connections. It makes the rules, it can break the rules. And so this ענין of the קו is always the מקיף.
That's the source of the כלים that limit. And this is why harmony comes from a lot of division. In other words, when you have a lot of division, like for example in the body, every organ is very specialized and very separate from the other organs, very different from the other organs. And that's what that allows for specialization and then that allows them to work together and that there makes them interdependent.
That from that, that's what allows to have many opposites together. This is the main thing of the man of תיקון, that there's divisions that allows everything to come together. About man it says, "You made me last and first."
Man as First and Last: Matter Before Form 1:41
So the form of the body was last, but the actual matter of the body, the simple matter that it's made out of, which came before the form, that's first.
And that we came first. שהוא, which came before the צורה, שהוא האור, which is the light. והוא בשרש הכלים, and that original simple matter was in the source of the כלים, שקדם לאור, which is before the light. ואחר בכלי החומר שאחר האור והצורה וכולי, but we were made last as far as the form that was given to this חומר, which is the that comes after the light in the form, וד"ל.
וכמו שמבואר במקום אחר ביאור ענין זה באריכות וד"ל, like this whole thing is explained elsewhere then. So this is the idea that we explained before, that the simple matter was made first and that's the source of that is in the רשימו.
And then the form comes through the קו, which comes through as like the light. And then afterwards, from the thickening of the light, makes the כלי. That means that the form of the vessel is made according to the light.
So the matter of the vessel comes before the light, but the form of the vessel is made according to the lowest level of the light. So it's last.
And this is a simple thing to understand, that if you want to sit down, so you make a chair. So the form of the chair is coming out of the lowest level of your desire to sit and then you figure out the shape of your body and what will be comfortable, based on that shape, you make the shape of the chair.
Chair Analogy: Desire Shapes Form from Pre‑Existing Matter 3:29
But the actual stuff that the chair is made out of was there before, was there before you were even born, before you ever wanted to sit down, it was there. But it wasn't made into a chair, so it didn't exist in the form yet. The form came last, that came after your desire to sit down and after you figured out exactly how would be the best way to sit and everything.
You see, it comes from your אחוריים, you know? And there it comes ממש, the chair comes from the אחור, cuz you make it to fit your תחת.
Yeah, the way that that the many divisions brings about תיקון, it's like it's the idea of like an assembly line, that the more you specialize each worker so that they can only do their job, the more they need everybody else.
Because it used to, if everybody knows how to put together the whole, you know, let's say an assembly line making cars. So you have hundreds of people, so you can have it in different ways. You could teach each person to make the whole car and let one person go and work and make a car.
Or you know, you could say, "Okay, forget about it. We're not going to teach you how to make a car. We're not even going to tell you what we're making, maybe." Doesn't matter. We're going to teach each of you to do one little step.
Your job is to tighten this bolt. That's it. The conveyor belt's going to move in front of you, and you're going to have this piece here, and you tighten that bolt, and then it'll move on to the next person. That's all you do.
And then your job is to put in this screw, and your job is to, you know, whatever, this bracket, and that, you know. And so each one just does their job, and the more divided it is, the more specialized each person is, and the more of a specific job they're doing, the more people they need to be able to finish a car. And they have to work together because they don't know how to do anything else, and they can't do it on their own.
Assembly Line Lesson: Specialization Demands Unity 5:30
And so they need to now work together. And the same thing, like that's the way it works in the body. That since the body becomes more specialized, especially in like higher life forms, like people, you know, each organ is more specialized, and each organ needs all the other organs very strongly because it can't function on its own. You can't just have a brain living on its own.
You can't just have a heart living on its own. You can't just have a liver living on its own, because there's so many other functions need to be done that it can't do.
And that's the idea of התכללות in a person, that everything has to work together because everything is so divided, so specialized.
This פרק is trying to tell us how the כלים are the main source of the התכללות as opposed to the lights, and there's two types of התכללות: one in the פנימיות הכלים and one in the חיצוניות הכלים.
The פנימיות הכלים have a התכללות from the אור פנימי, and the חיצוניות הכלים have a התכללות from the אור מקיף. That's the thing how more כלים makes more התכללות. כלים represent division.
From Adam to Fragmentation: Need for Unity 6:57
Well, the main idea is that, like it started out, that there was just like אדם הראשון, and he was supposed to do all the jobs for everything, and then he messed up. And so then it became more and more divided out, and each soul, each person now has a more specific, like a certain שורש and a certain makeup and a certain job, a certain שליחות, it becomes more and more specialized.
And that requires that we all work together more and more, because it's like one big, that, you know, like one big body, and it's very important that we have that התכללות to work together, because we become very specialized, which is good, because when you're specialized, you're more efficient, but that also means you need more אחדות to accomplish anything.
So you should love your fellow Jew and work together with him. Otherwise, you ain't going to get nothing done. You'll just put a bunch of, tighten a bunch of bolts.
No car, just bolts. You just tighten the bolt. You won't do nothing. Won't accomplish anything useful. If you connect with all the other guys, then you can do something.
