God Revealed Through the Line and Choice 0:02

And so השם wanted the world should look separate, so that we should have to work to see Him. So now how is God revealed? You don't see God in the thing itself so much. You see Him in the קו, which means the changes that He makes, in His בחירה.

And that's that what we're going to mainly explain in this chapter, that all the changes that happen in the השתלשלות are controlled only by God. Nothing else can, you know, like the body. The body needs the soul to tell what to do, and you see the בחירה comes all the way direct down through the whole השתלשלות from the top to bottom until it controls your little pinky toe.

And it's all coming from you. And everything in the middle doesn't change anything. And so there you see that's the ענין of the קו. So the the actual like, in this, you know, in תניא recently like when it was talking about like the קו and the הארה of the קו, and the הארה of the הארה of the הארה of the קו, and you know what I mean?

That's the ענין of like that your essential בחירה really only goes into like your brain, your consciousness, you know, that it goes into your brain. And from there, it goes through your nerves, which goes into like your organs, and then it influences your moves your organs according to your choice.

But if you would like cut off, God forbid, if some, you know, the the like the connection of the nerves somewhere, even though the person would make a choice, the body wouldn't respond.

And then the body does, let's say like you tell your arm to throw something or to move something, then it it puts that in onto the thing. So when you see like the thing moving, even though the object is separate, you're seeing the effect of the body moving from the impulse of the nerves from the choice that he made in his brain. So the actual light of the קו is only in the brain.

And then the הארה of the קו goes in the nerves to the body. And then from the body, that's like the כלים of אצילות, that it's like still connected to the קו because it's like then your body is all connected through the nerves to your brain. And then when you're doing things, right, when you like write something, or say something, or make something, so that's only like a הארה of of the light of the קו coming out, of your choice, but it's בקיעה of the מסך, and you can see about the person in what he does.

So now, we see God from that that He's like controls everything, and He chooses how it should be. And that's how we see Him.

But in the things itself, we don't see. They they seem limited. Yeah, and we see them in action, that's where we see God. You know, that's like a thing like just like a soul fills the body, so too God fills the world. ברכי נפשי, so it says in מדרש of ברכי נפשי את השם, that's the ענין, that just like the soul goes into the body and controls it, so too like the God reveals Himself only through the קו.

And that's like we talked about the משל of the צמצום. That's the one of the משלים we gave, like the the soul controlling the body, that the עצם of the soul stays out, is higher than the body. But yet, it comes down and it's connected to it. And so you see the soul in the body. That's like the ענין that there's a צמצום, but it's not כפשוטו.

The fact that you see that there's like like השגחה, that there's choices going on, and that God is like changing things. The עשרה מאמרות is one way that you see that.

World Appears Systematic but Is Guided by Volition 3:32

But even בעצם, because if you look carefully at the world, it's not It looks like it's a system at first, but it's not if you look carefully.

That's the thing. There's a level where it looks like a system, which like covers over godliness, but then when you look carefully, like with the chaos theory and stuff like that, or that's just, you know, one example, then you realize that it's really not a system.

And so you can't you can't just say that it was like thrown. You must say that there is a conscious volition that is telling it what everything what to do, every second.

Just like with the body. So at first, if you look at the body under a microscope, it looks like there's just these bunch of these different cells. Each one is like its own organism.

You know, like each cell is like its own thing. Like there's tree cells, and there's squirrel cells, and people cells, and they're all just sitting there doing their own thing. And it's just like trillions and trillions of these little things living their own lives and running all over the place. You know, the blood cells running here, and then these cells running there, and like the ones that move around, like the blood cells, are like animals, and like the ones that stay put are like like but grow are like plants, and then like the ones that like don't move at all, like bone cells or minerals, are like stones, like stones, you know?

It's like it's ממש like a whole world inside of you. And at first, if you look at each one individually, they have it has its own רצון, and has its own brain, and tells it what to do, and it just tries to live its own life. And it doesn't know that there's a person, doesn't care.

You know, it's just doing its own life. But then there's this like will, this higher thing that's imposed on all of them that makes them all work together, that like imposed this order on them that makes them somehow work together.

It's something that's like מקיף on them. They don't really like, they don't even know it. And this is like the same way with the world. There's a point where you realize that the world is also like that. Like, if you look at under a microscope at like the molecules and the atoms and the quarks and whatever, so it looks like each one is its own little thing, and it's following its own rules, with its own little system and just trying to do what it does, according to its טבע.

But then, there's a gap between like what they're doing on like a certain level, so if you're looking at like the atomic level, and like the way that things work, like it seems like they are all just doing their own thing and they shouldn't work together on like the molecular level the way they do.

Yeah, it shouldn't come together to be like a tree that's working together, you know what I mean? And so whenever you're going from one level to the next, you kind of, you know, like scientifically, like the, the only way to explain it is that there's some other outside like מקיף force that unites them all and that makes them work together, because if you look at the, the individuals, you know, there's nothing that does that.

Your like kidney, left kidney cell, you know, and within the kidney there's different kinds of cells, whatever, but like it, it doesn't have the full DNA.

It only has a kidney cell DNA. And besides that, they're different cells, and each one has its own like, you know, brain. And if it doesn't, it doesn't know the whole picture. They don't know the whole picture, what they're supposed to be doing. They just know what they're supposed to do, and they just try to do that the best they can. And like a cancer cell is when one of those things goes, loses its ביטול somehow, you know, where the, the system that keeps the things working together somehow breaks down, and one of, and like a kidney cell tries to just turn everything into kidney cells.

And so just making, makes a bunch of kidney cells, but, you know, you don't need that many kidney cells, and it's not the right shape, and it's not the right, you know, it's all wrong. It somehow loses the ביטול to like the general thing. Like what, what's doing that? They're, they're not sure yet exactly what does that in the body.

When they'll figure it out, אם ירצה השם soon, they're researching it, they should be able to cure cancer and they should be able to make people live forever.

So hopefully they'll figure it out soon. What are they going to figure out? They're going to figure out with like, they're researching this already about like in embryology, when like a child first starts to develop, what it is that that causes this ביטול over the body.

You know, there's like the liquids that do that and stuff, and different things that do that. It's mainly this liquid, I think.

No, they're researching and just in a person what makes the, the cells like in a baby, when it's developing, it develops really rapidly, but everything somehow develops in the right proportions, in the right order, in the right form, and they don't, they're not sure how it knows how to do that.

They know that there's different chemicals that are there that influence that, but they didn't yet isolate them and figure out what does what. I mean, it's the, it's, it's also, למאי נפקא מינה, it's the, you know, it's the טיפה.

And there's like ה' גבורות and ה' חסדים. There's, there's some of the liquids make it grow, and some of it make it stop. And that's the, the right combination of the ה' גבורות and ה' חסדים is what makes it come in the right form.

And they, when they, they didn't figure it out yet how it goes. All I can tell you from like, you know, before I researched in medicine and then I realized that they were researching it, you know what I mean, like I knew from חסידות that there is this, these liquids, and that it's there, you know, in the child, and that's what makes it develop.

And it also seems that some sort of inhalant would trigger it in a, in a, an adult. Inhalant, inhalant would trigger the proper release of these chemicals in an adult that would cause the body to, to start to, you know, fix itself up again and because what happens is that when people get older, this liquid dries up, and so the the the body starts to have, you know, lose the signals to fix itself up, and so it starts to deteriorate.

Now, it doesn't have to be through scientific discovery. It could either be through scientific discovery, or it could be from learning חסידות. It will happen naturally when if you learn חסידות properly, that it will do this to your body. But, but I think that they could, you know, they could prob- it wouldn't be maybe as good, but they could, you know, medically use it to to help people before, you know, people develop that level of understanding חסידות.

Yeah. Yeah, of course. Yeah, I think it, yeah, it's going to come together.

Yeah, it'll come together. To see how from both sides, that both, that like that רוחניות is ממש גשמיות, that that that learning חסידות physically has that a certain of the effect on your body, it's necessary to do that, and that they'll figure out independently on like a physical level how you could do that, but that in order to do it properly it has to come דווקא through חסידות.

To do it ממש in its real form, the best form.
