Letters as Source of the Ten Sefirot Lights 0:01
ולכן, therefore, כל התהוות האורות דעשר ספירות הן באים מבחינת אותיות עצמיים דהמאציל, therefore the create the whole creation of the lights of the ten ספירות come from the letters, the essential letters of the מאציל, דער מאציל, from א״ק. What does that mean? That means, like we said before, that the the way that God chooses to reveal Himself, since God chose to reveal Himself in a certain form, which is the letters of א״ק, that creates the whole idea of these lights of אצילות, of the ten ספירות.
The infinite lights that are behind the ten ספירות are created only once God chooses to to associate Himself with certain ideas. So since God chose to associate Himself with wisdom, that creates the the infinite light that God is expressed through everything having wisdom in it, that now the wisdom that's found in everything will reveal God. And so once that's connected to it, that makes this big רצון that the wisdom has to that God that everything has to have a wisdom in it to reveal God.
God's Choice of Wisdom (Chochma) and Name ע"ב 1:05
And it takes on the godly qualities of being essential, and that becomes like an axiom, and it becomes, you know, like something that's infinite and becomes, you know, and which is all those different qualities like the lights of the ten ספירות.
וכמו שם ע״ב, for example the name ע״ב, שממנו בא בחינת אור החכמה דאצילות, that from בגילוי, that from the fact that God chose to reveal Himself through the name of ע״ב, which is the name of חכמה, that God chose to reveal Himself as being wise, and hidden in the the way that the שם ע״ב is spelled hints at like the form of חכמה that God created, not just the association of Himself to wisdom, but He also chose what wisdom is going to be, and that's defined by the name of 72, right?
However that is, I don't know like, you know what I mean, like I don't understand the symbolism well enough to like give you a real, you know, a great definition of wisdom or anything like that based on it. But the general idea of it is that it's a מילוי of יודין, that that in other words that God made the general form which everything follows in creation, which is the form of man, which is expressed by the four letters יו״ד ק״ה וא״ו ק״ה, that everything has צמצום, התפשטות, המשכה, התפשטות, and that's the general form that God chose to reveal Himself through.
Miluim Yodim and the Four Letter Structure 2:42
And then, within that, He created the idea of wisdom, which is that when that the way that it works is that there's that there's a מילוי יודין. In other words, that you see that the צמצום, the התפשטות, המשכה, התפשטות, but you see everything as just like having a in being like in a way of צמצום, like the יו״ד, the initial thing of like the צמצום, it's just the נקודה.
What that means, the idea that it's like a צמצום, is that you see everything is just being a little example that's representing a a bigger כלל.
Everything is just like a little so you look at everything, and you see it that really what it what its real existence is is that it's like a little פרט
representing the כלל. But it's an actual like piece of it. Like that's the thing like the טיפה of the מוח האב, like a child, that it's actually like a piece of the father and therefore it has like all the qualities of the father.
So the same way we see everything in the world as being ממש like an actual so like what like this the idea of like אצילות, that when that's revealed like this idea of חכמה, that when you look at like in the eating an apple in the way of חכמה, or like in the which is corresponds to the way of אצילות, you see it as being an actual example, though very small and מצומצם, of the idea of חסד, of of getting life and and, you know, stuff like that, the idea of being able to give life.
And that's the experience of getting energy from eating, you feel you see how this is like an actual experience of the מהות of the power of giving life.
So you see it as being just like a like that essential thing becoming in a very מצומצם way, as like a small example. So you see everything as being little examples of God Himself.
And that's the idea of חכמה that God created, that He wants to reveal Himself through that thing. And that creates the אור ע״ב of אצילות, the רצון that everything should that in an infinite way should express this type of a relationship.
Yeah, that's the idea of חכמה. חכמה means when you see something as as being the way that it's directly connected to the כלל that it represents until you see it as being ממש synonymous and being like that you're actually having like a small taste of the מהות of the thing.
Seeing Wisdom in Everyday Examples 5:09
And so it becomes totally like transparent to the thing that it's expressing. Like like let's say you appreciate like the wisdom in like music or something.
So what does that mean that you see like there's a big wisdom in it? You know?
It's like that you that means that you see this as ממש like you get a little taste of like a person's talent. You ממש like see it in the thing that like that's the whole thing where you like appreciate like the wisdom. Or
like a person that's wise that like can give good advice. That means that like he he like appreciates like the real like the way that life works and whatever because he had a lot of experience and he like and and so by when and in his experiences in life, he was able to like see it as like a lesson of like about like the nature of reality and he's able to see how it's really the same as your what you're going through.
And so he was able to like, you know what I mean? That's like the main thing of wisdom is seeing like a פרט and seeing it as being able to derive the כלל from the פרט. Okay, do you see the פרט as ממש being like an example, like a דוגמא of the כלל?
So you see it as like it represents it, that's ממש, you know, even though it's just like a symbolic example, like a but it it actually contains the whole it is an actual that's the difference between like an example an example has everything, like the משנה has the whole גמרא in it. It's like, you know, that's like the level of חכמה is that you see it as coming in a very קיצור way, but it has everything in it.
Like if you taste once you taste one piece of chocolate, you've experienced chocolate, and that's the same for everything. Every chocolate is the same.
So you see that you you, even though you just tasted one piece, you recognize that you actually had the essence of chocolate. And so it's the same for everything, you know what I mean?
That's like that's like the level of what's of of חכמה where you see something as being in like an actual example of the essence, and so it has the whole thing there, as opposed to like where you're just learning about it like indirectly, but it doesn't really have everything, like a משל or something.
Anyway, so this is the idea, that God created such a relationship that you see that the חכמה is where you see everything as being like a small piece of God, just like a little example of Him in all different ways. And that's that's the idea of ראשית החכמה דאצילות. בגילוי, הרי זה,
so that's like the way that the name represents that. So it's, you know, that like the actual letters represent that, that God chose to reveal Himself through that type of a name. הרי זה שם המורה על עצם דחכמה דא״ק וכולו.
Names 72 and 63: Lights of Chochma and Bina 8:11
So the name ע״ב, the name 72 represents the the essential name of חכמה of א״ק, that God chose to express Himself through God's choice to be wise and the way that what that means, in other words the picture that God has for how He wants to reveal Himself as being wise, that He's choosing.
And from that comes the light of חכמה. וכן שם ס״ג המורה על עצם אור דבינה דא״ק וכולו, and the same thing with the name of 63, which represents the essential light of בינה of א״ק, that God chose that He's going to reveal Himself through בינה, which is the idea it's it's it's almost the same as חכמה, except in the middle there's an א, that in the המשכה, there's an א instead of a י.
And then what that means is that you see the essential point, but you see it through like a relative thing. That you see God's greatness by comparing Him to other things. So you appreciate the point by comparing how it weighs to a lower point. Yeah, that's like the א is kind of made like a scale with like two points with like a line in the middle and stuff, like to make distinction between them, and comparing them and contrasting them.
So that's like appreciating God's greatness by seeing like the difference between God and creation and how He's even greater than them, and, you know, if He can create this, then for sure He must be greater. So it's like appreciating the essence through something else.
