The Infinite Light Behind the Measured Line 0:00

אמנם however, יובן מעתה שהקו הזה יש בו מכח האור הראשון שלפני הצמצום, בבחינת אין סוף ממש. However, from what we said in the last chapter, it's understood that really the קו is not limited. It could bring out the whole light of the the before the צמצום, in a completely infinite way.

Because the thing of the קו is like now the teacher is deciding to explain it a measured way, but if he measures that the student is on his level, he can bring it all the way back out to his level, to his teacher's level, right? רק שבא על דרך קו, ולפי אופן המקבלים וכולו. Just it's coming in a measured way according to the recipients, so if they're little, it will come in a little way, that he could explain anything based on his knowledge.

Because that's the thing, when we when he when he says a משל of a teacher and a student and they're בערך, he means a real teacher. A real teacher has the essence of intellect.

Then this is an exaggeration, like almost nobody really has the essence of intellect. The essence of intellect is like is really חסידות, and then you know everything really.

Essence of Intellect and חסידות 1:02

And it's just a matter of putting it together in different ways, but you really see you really see the essence of it, and it's just like, and it's not like you just learned a whole bunch of things, it's a whole totally qualitative different type of understanding. But we don't have time to get into explaining that now.

The point is that really he knows everything, and he could explain to you anything, but he's just like telling you what you know. I mean, you can understand even like a basic level, somebody like really mastered הלכה let's say, he's the פוסק הדור, and you come and ask him a question. He knows הלכה in a way of an עומק, he has the depth, and so whatever situation you'll come up with, he didn't have to learn about the situation, he'll just figure out how to put the pieces together, and he'll tell you the הלכה for that situation.

But the he has to measure what situation you're talking about, and based on that he'll put it together and tell you the way the הלכה comes out in this thing.

But really if you're on the right level, he can go all the way back up and talk to you on his level, where he sees everything.

God’s Limited Revelation Through the קו 2:08

So what does this mean? In other words, that really within the that the קו that God could reveal His whole עצם, but He chose to make the השתלשלות, that since He wants to make like limited things, so He only reveals it in a limited Himself in a limited way, so therefore you only see like each thing has its own חיות and it seems to have like its own גילוי of Godliness that's unique to it and like it seems to be this whole limited system thing.

But God created that so we could have עבודה and have the world and everything like that. But really if He wanted to He could blow it back up and show how like you really have the whole כח of the אין סוף in you or my coffee or whatever it is. ובזה יובן מה שכתוב באורך נראה אור, if from Your light we see a different light. בבחינת הארה דהארה, only like a ray of a ray, הנקרא אור תולדה, which is called like a born light, meaning that it changes its form.

So in other words that really the light that we're seeing is God's light, that means we're seeing God Himself, but השם made it in a way of a light of a light that it that changes, so now to us it looks like a revelation of something else, it looks like a revelation of like חכמה or כתר or בינה, you know what I mean? And then those come into more particular things, it looks like the wisdom of squirrels, you know, like a particular life force or a particular חיות, a particular truth, a particular whatever, different things.

In that, we see a little reflection of godly spark, a little reflection of God, but we don't see like the whole picture. We just like feel that there's a little thing in that, behind it.

So through it we can like get a glimpse that there's, you know, the Creator that made it. שאחר הצמצום, בקיעת האור דרך קו וכולו, which is the idea that after the צמצום, the light breaks through, which means original light, that you see a little glimmer of God, but it's only coming through the קו. It's only coming through this limited, measured way.

Wisdom as a Vessel Separate from God 4:02

So in other words like the like wisdom is is like coming from the רשימו, the vessel of wisdom, the fact that like the concept of like wisdom is something separate from God. God is not wisdom. But you see that there's someone using the wisdom, someone executing the wisdom in the world, and that is like a בקיעה of the of the עצמות or אין סוף that you see that there's like that God Himself is the one that's doing the the wisdom.

Like, well, the trees and the squirrels and everything, I mean any you know, anything, you see wisdom, you see it's a big wisdom. Yeah, I mean I don't know about you, but like I don't know how to make apples, and between you and me, I think I'm smarter than an apple tree, so I don't think the apple tree knows how to make an apple either, cause it's just stupid wood.

Yeah, because it's God's wisdom is telling it how to do it. Or like spiders making their webs. They don't know how to make their web.

It's not like they like are like these smart guys and they figured out how to make a web. God put it into them to do it. Or bees, bees make honeycombs like perfect angles, perfect whatever degree angle you need to make it that, whatever that is. It's like genetic, they know how to do that. You know, they're not that smart. You see that there's a wise guy behind it.

There's somebody that's higher than wisdom that's using the wisdom. Right now I'm talking to you and I hear that there's intelligence in in the sounds you're making, so I don't just say oh there is intelligence. I say that there's a person that is intelligent, an intelligent person. So I see you, but I only see you through your intelligence and through your I only see you through these ways, cuz those are the only ways that you express yourself.

But I'm seeing you, I'm not I don't just think that you're this intelligence. There's a person that is intelligent. It's just a that's a quality that you have, that's not your עצם. So same thing, we're able to realize that there is a God, and we see that, and He's the one that uses wisdom, but we realize that He's higher than wisdom. You can't say that God is wisdom.

Seeing God Through the Ten Sefirot Line 6:07

But now it's only comes through the ten ספירות, which is the קו that God measures out. So in order to see God, we have to see it through His wisdom and through His will and through His kindness, you know, and these things.

אבל הוא בא מאור העצמי, but the light that we're seeing is coming from your essential light. We're seeing God Himself really, even though it's coming now through the limited form, but it's really revealing the original light now.

להיות שברשימו הרי נכלל הכל, because the whole עצם is really hidden in the רשימו. וממנו נמשך הקו, and the קו is coming out from the רשימו, ובבחינת היולי לכללות ההשפעה להיות בבחינת מעלה מטה. The קו is only revealing what's hidden in the רשימו in a way of מעלה מטה, so that you can like have a way to start. So it makes it like a progression so you can like start with A, and then do B, and then do, and you can like slow you know, work to see God.

But really, once the קו helps you to to כאפ God, you see it in the thing itself. In other words, you see every point is ממש that like He chose that point. He ממש put His עצם into that point. So you see the whole עצם in every point now. And the fact that it was made in מעלה מטה was just to help you be able to come to that realization.

Like when a person's writing a language, really every even one letter, he could put he's putting, you know, the שכל into. But in order for you to כאפ that there's a שכל, he has to put a make a lot of letters. It makes it easier for you to כאפ when there's a lot of letters.

Because he says that the the עצם אור is being revealed, because that's hidden in the רשימו, the רשימו really has the עצם, the whole עצם אור in it. So so that's one thing that really every point even really has the whole עצם in it, but the problem is you don't see it, because it's a היולי, so you don't know how to pull out the עצם אור because it's So then he השם reveals it in a קו, which is only like a limited המשכה of it, it's only a limited גילוי of it, in a way of מעלה מטה, which is in a way not true, it's not like השם is putting it on, that it should be דווקא in like a certain way and you have to start here and then there and whatever.

But once you go through that קו, it reveals to you the עצם of the רשימו. It helps you find the עצם עצמות that's hidden in the רשימו.

That's what he's saying, that the קו is נמשך from the רשימו, and therefore you're able to see the עצמות אור that was that was put into the רשימו.

The קו is a היולי to make things in a way of מעלה מטה. The רשימו is a היולי for everything. And we explained in the last chapter that that like when you have a measuring stick, it's a היולי to measure anything. על כל פנים that it should already be in a way of of מעלה מטה.

In other words, the only thing that the קו says is going to be in a way of מעלה מטה, but within the idea of מעלה מטה you can make any מעלה מטה you want.

The only thing is that על כל פנים it's going to be in a way of מעלה מטה. There's going to be an order and it's going to be a certain form and it's going to be a certain starting point and end point so that you'll have a way to like כאפ what he's saying. You'll start here and end there, but you could do it however you want.

Like when you decide you're going to explain an idea in words, you can you write whatever you want on the paper, but it's going to have to start here and go from right to left, and you know what I mean? There's certain rules already that makes it be in a way of a מעלה מטה, that it's going to have a certain order. כמו שכתוב בעץ חיים, like it says in עץ חיים.
