Innate Desire for a Car in the Infant 0:05
You know that when he grows up, he's going to want that car. What do you mean, how do you know he's going to want that car? He's a baby, he don't even know what a car is yet, he doesn't even know what a toy car is yet.
Like, a little five-year-old kid already knows a car, you know, he knows a toy car and he knows when he grows up and he'll be big like papa, he'll have his own car, you know? Right. But really, when he What? The minute he's born, he already wants a car. So how how does he want a car? He has absolutely no מחשבה of a car at all. So he says, "Yeah, but there's a hidden מחשבה there, that just the fact that he's a boy means that he's going to want a car.
It's included." So really, the עיגולים is not even the self-perception, that's already א"ק. That's already a רצון of a רצון. No, the the עיגולים is really the the עיגולים is really the self.
The עיגולים is higher than the self-perception. The self-perception is already in terms of the worlds. Right, that's what I'm saying. There's already a צמצום there in terms of See, you have to understand, the in the מחשבה קדומה, there's no real צמצום in the רצון. There's no צמצום in the actual רצון, that the רצון became lessened than what it was before.
There was absolutely no צמצום in the רצון. The צמצום was in the light. Right. In the light of the עצמות, that before was a part and parcel of the עצמות, and now the עצמות removed itself, and then the light of the עצמות removed itself, and now it's just a רצון. Right. The way you explained it to me really one time is that the מחשבה קדומה is the אותיות like It's basically the אותיות of the רשימו, but without it but without Just like the מחשבה of לאה in in the in a sense, meaning for example like you explained to me that the you know, the י"ד דס"ג should be טהירו עילאה, so No, no, but that's the רשימו is like the אותיות of the גליף גליפו without is like the is the לבושים instead of the כלים.
מחשבה קדומה as the Original Letters 1:52
The גליף גליפו is the כלים and means they're they're ממש part and parcel of the light, that's גליף גליפו. Right. And the רשימו is the the לבושים.
The מחשבה קדומה is already like a stamp. Right, it's it's It's called עתיק. It's it's עתיקא דכל עתיקין. It's original עתיק, but what it means it's a perfect copy of of what was in the the רשימו. Right. Not actual רשימו itself. Right. Because the actual רשימו itself is still the actual letters themselves of the גליף גליפו, which just the light was removed of them. Right. This is a copy of them.
Unobservable Nature of the Hidden Thought (סתימא) 3:21
Right. But ממש the same thing. I have no השגה of what this thing is, it's not it's not an observable thing, really. Of course it's That's the whole thing, it's called it's called a סתימא. Right.
So that how that's I'm just, it's very confusing to explain this, or the difference between טהירו עילאה and טהירו תתאה, meaning between how it is, there really isn't a difference. Well, there's a big difference. There's a big difference, but at the same time, the actual letters of the of the רצון of the the same the letters of the גליף גליפו and the letters of the מחשבה קדומה are the same letters.
Okay, but in other words, this is not just like like the the the like the טהירו עילאה means how this baby was before he was even con- conceived, there was no baby at all.
Right. But once he's once he's born, you see that there's a bunch of little desires there. And in these desires, there's a desire for a house. When he grows up, you see this little baby, you know that he's going to want a place to live.
Hidden Desire for a House from Birth 4:25
I mean, right now if a if an agent will walk up to him, you know, and tell him, "Hey, listen, I got a house for you, you know, you might as well buy it, you know, start saving up now, you know."
You can't talk to him about a house, because there's no מחשבה גלויה yet. But the מחשבה סתימאה is there already. It comes built in. because it came right through the צמצום. Okay, but that was what was there before the צמצום. It was the עצם, it was the עצם of the thing that came into into it, but now it's in a different מהות.
It's in a מהות of after the צמצום. Like like the like what what did what the other stuff what it talks about in chapter 10, like from before the צמצום to after the צמצום, an actual movement. Okay, but that's by us. What by us? What do you mean by us? By us, there's a by us, there's a difference between before we were born and after we were born.
Before and After Birth: A Fundamental Distinction 5:34
But by the אייבערשטער, what do you mean? What's there? There isn't a difference. There is a difference. What difference is there? Before was like the אור אין סוף, and afterwards, it's it's the beginning and the birth of א"ק, of a person. It's not the אייבערשטער anymore.
It's א"ק. It's a person. But the letters are the same letters. Those were the letters I mean, the letters of the רצון before and the letters that are after are the same exact letters. According to the גליף גליפו.
Right, they're the same letters of the גליף גליפו. I mean, this this ענין here, it's not an ענין of an explanation. I mean, you you have the explanation.
This is not an ענין of a מעמיק. Now you have to take the explanation and realize that the explanation is a משל on something that's much higher, and try to see that level inside of yourself. You'll feel that inside of yourself there was a all of your external desires there's a place where they all existed previously
in a היולי fashion. And I don't mean in the essence of your soul, I mean in the essence of the desires themselves, where they are already desires separate from the soul. And it's not just a מחשבה פשוטה, it's not a פשיטות, it's already a כלל. It's a כלל that includes all the things you ever gonna want.
And that is a thing of the the מעמיק. In other words, the the the explanation of of בינה can't give you this. You have to think about it. That's what means the עמקות הדעת. That's that's what you're supposed to do in דאווענען, to take a look, see what does this really mean. Well, that's what I'm trying to do.
Okay, but the the the thing is like this, that you have to understand that even the משל that you're given on it, that's Yeah, obviously. really The משל that you're given on it is really נקודים. Obviously. It's already The משל that he gave is a מחשבה גלויה. Right. You can't give a משל on a מחשבה סתימאה, because it's סתימא, it's hidden. Right.
It's not It's not revealed at all. Right. It's hidden. You know, so the the basic thing is that this is something that that you have to see where it is inside of you.
And there's a certain level inside of you which is all the עיגולים. All your all your zeros are there as what you call the the the the primal desires.
Primal Desires: כבוד, Love, and דין 8:45
In other words, there's when a when a kid is born, there's a primal desire for כבוד. There's a primal desire for love. A kid comes with a primal desire for love. Right.
You know. Right, okay. And a primal desire for דין. Right. And before, before These are the primal these are the primal desires. Right, okay. In other words, these primal desires are not even yet in a way of a self-image yet, because a self-image is already in terms of a רצון to a רצון. Right, right, okay. In other words, the self-image is already an image of what he's going to look like to others.
Right. Even though א"ק is really is really also only for himself, but it's what he wants to have an image of even to look like to himself, which is already like in a way outside of himself. Right, right. That's why it's called already a בריאה, as far as compared to the מחשבה קדומה, א"ק is already called a בריאה חדשה. Right. And it's called אדם דבריאה, means it's already part of the external world.
Right. And it's considered the level of מחשבה. Right. Whereas the מחשבה קדומה is still considered אצילות, which is part of which which, as far as עולמות הכללות, is is still part of the אין סוף. These are, in a way, the כלים of the, it's considered the כלים, the גוף of the מלכא, Right. of the אין סוף. Right.
מחשבה קדומה Belongs to אצילות and אין סוף 10:15
Okay. You know, so the the there is an eye and there's a brain there, and everything is up there,
but it's basically אדם דעיגולים because it's still all inside of Himself. It's not There's still no outside modifications there at all. Right. It's all how He is inside of Himself, and that's why the עיגולים are one inside of the other. Right. And that's what it is. It's the basic primal desires, which that's what מחשבה קדומה means. A רצון קדום means a primal desire. Right. Now why does one primal desire come after another primal desire?
Primal desire means the actual soul that enters the actual soul that enters the body, 'kay, but not the יחידה, but the soul that enters the body like. Right. Okay, but in that case, then why doesn't one why does one primal desire desire come after the other primal desire? Why does there have to be a primal desire for חסד in order for there to afterwards be a primal desire for גבורה, in the next עיגול?
Primal חסד Leads to גבורה 11:38
Because if you don't love anything, you're not going to hate anything. חסד is what causes the next עיגול. And the גבורה is basically what what what He's going to The גבורה is basically what He's going to hate, according to what He loves. Right.
Not only that, the גבורה is basically what kind of דינים and what kind of modifications and צמצומים He has to make, according to what He loves.
Right. Right. In general, the whole thing of a בית דין, if you don't know what you love, you can't you can't open up this a court you can't open up courts.
Right. Because the courts are in order to enforce a type of society of what you like. Right. In other words, the whole thing of the בית דין is to enforce a kind of society where where your kids, who you love, will be able to be safe in the street.
Right. If you don't love anything, then you don't have to have a דין on anything either.
And the same thing from those from the ענין of נצח and
הוד. Okay. You know, but the thing is that those are one inside of the other. It's not that He's really comes out with an actual love, but inside of Himself He has this primal desire that He wants to be loved, and He wants to love.
But it's not that it actually how it applies to anything yet. It just comes automatically. You know, when a when somebody's born, it's there. It's already there. This is something that you're born with. Yeah, okay. Yeah, but thank you. There's different approaches to how the משלים go. Like one like the regular משל is like it's the primary מחשבה for a particular מחשבה, but as far as by the אייבערשטער, it's considered like a particular מחשבה.
Right. But as far as a world, it's considered like a מחשבה קדומה, like the primal מחשבה that includes the whole world, and it encompasses the whole thing in it. Right. And that's the same thing, like a a particular מחשבה becomes a primal מחשבה for everything that's inside of it. Right. And that's in terms of like רצונות, but then in terms of like people, like when you say א"ק, that's already with a א"ק is Sort of like with a form, that's like אדם דבריאה.
Right. The מחשבה קדומה is basically how it is before the בריאה. Right. Meaning cause primal being. How it comes into אצילות. Right. So what comes into אצילות is straight out of the עצמות. Right. Okay, go ahead. Yeah, each level is in a relationship to levels above and levels below, you know? Right. It's like it's like a משל on a משל. Right. You know, and the משל basically the משל is like the first thought of a particular thought.
But really the first thought of a particular thought is also really included it's not really when he just first thinks about it.
Because when he first thinks about it, it's already not really the that's the first thought of that thought. It's not the real מחשבה קדומה. When he first thinks about an actual house, like for instance if you're going to think about an actual house, like you just bought a house, when you started thinking about it, that was not really the מחשבה קדומה.
Because it was already the minute you thought about it, you're already thinking about a house in the Los Angeles area. That means it's not the real first thought.
If you really trace it back, you see that the first thought was already included in the עצם in in the in the עצם when it came through into the body. Right, meaning a place to live. A shelter. Means the minute a person is born, he already has that the first thought the first thought for the house, and that one that first thought is not necessarily in Los Angeles.
It's It's not even really necessarily a house. It's a shelter. A place to live. It's not even No, it's not even that. It's a home. No, because because when a baby is born he doesn't know from homes and stuff like that. Right. It's not even that. And yet it's there. Right. It's there in a hidden way. It's not even there really for even a shelter or anything.
You could say, well, it's for safety, it's for this, it's for that. So then you have to finally say it is the it's a basic first ten ספירות how they come out, and they're coming out in a גולם. It's not even yet a form of a person yet. He's not a person yet.
Right. He doesn't even know where his hands are yet.
He doesn't know how the body works. You see with a little kid, it's not separated out yet into like hands and feet yet. He doesn't know. He thinks he's going to move his hand and he moves his foot. You see when he tries to move, he moves everything.
Right. You know, why? Because he's not he didn't become a פרצוף of a person yet. It didn't separate out into into an actual thing of יושר where it has because he only knows how it feels inside of him. He doesn't know how it relates to the outside world yet.
Right. And but the מחשבה קדומה, you see, is already there. His self-perception in terms of the world is not really there. That's a developing thing. That has to develop as a רצון on a רצון according to something that he has to perceive from outside.
In other words, the only reason that that that there has to come up a רצון on a רצון is when he perceives from the outside that it's not exactly how it is inside.
So therefore he has to come up with a רצון on a רצון, which like if you come up with the אויבערשטער, say wait a minute, well how could there be something to block up what the אויבערשטער wants?
You know, so, but the thing is that the אויבערשטער makes up the outside also. Because In other words, over there it's not the fact that there was a outside that blocked him up and therefore he had to come up with a רצון on a רצון. It was the other way around. He wanted to have a blocked up outside, so therefore he made his השתלשלות go through a רצון on a רצון.
It's the other way around. It's the other way around. In other words, he wanted to come up It's not that there was a outside that forced him into having to adjust himself.
It was the other way around. He wanted to have an outside, so therefore he adjusted himself so that an outside will come out from that adjustment.
Right. Which a רצון on a רצון means to adjust yourself. Right. Not not the way it originally is. It's a בריאה חדשה, it's a רצון that wasn't there before.
And since the אייבערשטער wanted to have an outside, so therefore he had to come up with a רצון לרצון so that the outside should not come from the direct רצון, but rather from a רצון לרצון. That's what makes it an outside.
So, even even the משל you have to take it and see it in in perspective because by the אייבערשטער, it's not like by us that the רצון לרצון comes from the outside, it's the other way around: the outside comes from the רצון לרצון. Right. And that's what makes it into an outside,
the fact that he makes a רצון לרצון.
You know, so you know, and and and that's the basic thing. If you go back to chapter 1, you know, and we say that the main thing is the התבוננות, but the התבוננות has to have a כלי of עמקות הדעת. What it means עמקות הדעת? עמקות הדעת means that, you know, like what explained also in in chapter 5 and stuff like that, you know, that in the explanations of חסידות, there's this the part you understand, and the part you don't understand.
Right. As a matter of fact, not just a part you don't understand, there's a part that's not really understandable.
And the thing is that the explanations of בינה
Explanations of בינה as Pointers 21:51
are basically like pointers. They point you to look over there. And it's basically like if I if if I'm trying to explain to you where to find something, like if you ask your mother, "Oh, where's the paper cups?"
and she tells you, "Oh, you know, you look in the second cabinet to the right, to the this, to the that," and you say, "I'm looking. I don't see it," and then you get explanations, "Oh, look behind the other thing."
Okay, but the final thing is not really the explanation.
The final thing is that when you follow the explanation, you'll be able to see it.
So, this is basically the same thing. That all of these explanations these explanations basically explain it to you in terms of various things.
Now, the basic difference of the real שיטה that he explains in this book and the the the the mistake of the עולם is that they basically just take the abstract explanation as just an abstract thing of its own.
But the thing is that it's not really just an abstract thing. It's talking it's explaining something to you. In other words, it's pointing you to look at certain levels. So like, for instance, when he tells you the תנועות, a תנועה, that that a תנועה, the כח התנועה in the חי, there's the thing of the abstract explanation, which is basically as far as everybody goes, why they never they were never able to get some of these like like some of the ענינים in this book, they weren't ever never able to get it.
בינה Described as a River Within 24:07
For like when it says that בינה is like a river, that's a very nice you know, it's a very nice imagery and stuff like that, but it's more than an imagery. You actually have a river inside of you.
And it's telling you that there's an actual river of בינה inside of you, and you can see this river of בינה. I mean, it's telling you look like look over there, look and you'll see how it's coming. Right. He said, "And where where do I look?" He said, "Well, if you follow the book, you'll see is you see the נביעה of בינה goes into לאה."
If you look at the מחשבה, you'll see that מחשבה is always flowing like a river, you know. And basically from that, you can follow it to the flash of חכמה and To various other things, even to the כח המשכיל, which it says like the כח המשכיל you can't actually, it explains in various places in חסידות you can't actually see the כח המשכיל. But nonetheless, it's not true.
In other words, when it says you can't see the כח המשכיל, it means you can't see the כח המשכיל itself. But you can see it like a ninja inside of his לבושים.
Right. You can see the לבושים, and when you see how the לבושים are moving, that means you're seeing the actual body that's moving them.
Right. So that actually like even though you can't actually feel the actual כח המשכיל or the חכמה or the בינה themselves, the only thing that you can actually feel and hold on to is the מחשבה.
But in the מחשבה, there's several לבושים that's a לבוש on top of a לבוש. In other words, the לבוש of לאה is on top of the לבוש of the actual כלים. The the the לבושים of מחשבה are on top of the actual מחשבה that's כלים, and that's a לבוש on basically on the מחשבה of מלכות of תבונה, which is a לבוש on the מחשבה of בינה, which is a לבוש on the מחשבה of חכמה.
So, really, as far as the לבושים, you can see the same thing like if a person has a a shirt and a glove,
and you're seeing the shirt and glove moving, you know exactly where his hand is.
So, like for instance, this guy, you know, this ninja that's running around, you say, "I can't see him, I can't see him." They say, "Shoot the bastard." He says, "I can't see him, I can't see him." "What do you mean you can't see him? You see that black those black clothings moving around. Just shoot at those."
If you shoot at those, you're going to get you're going to hit him. That's all you have to You don't have to actually see his body to shoot him. Right.
If you see the לבושים, you know where to shoot.
Ninja Suit Analogy: Clothing Reveals the Person 27:17
And when you shoot, you can kill the actual guy. Not You're not just You're not just killing the clothes. "Oh man, I killed a ninja suit."
You know, that's not that's not what The ninja suit is is fine, actually. It's the ninja himself, you know? Yeah. And the fact that he was all covered up makes no difference. You knew exactly where he was cuz you saw the clothing that he was wearing. Right. Not only that. You you know the shape. You know, you can tell by the clothing. You can tell, I mean This is his arm, and this is his head.
Also, you can tell if he's a fat guy or a skinny guy or whatever. Right. Especially like that why we would choose a ninja is because the ninjas wear like almost like a
what do you call it? A stocking. You know, a close-fitting Mhm. לבוש, not like a tent. Right. You know, so you can see the exact shape of his body.
Right. And the same thing with the אותיות, the external אותיות is the exact shape of the internal אותיות. It's It's like a stocking fit, you know.
Like a bodysuit, you know. Right. And then there's also the thing of like the enclothments of a king, that from the clothing, you you can see things not just of the body, but from the clothing you can see things of the soul.
And not just by a king, by everybody. If you see a a person how he's how he's dressed, you get a you get like a look into him.
Why? Because he's dressed according to his מחשבה.
Right. I mean, besides the fact that he's dressed that the לבושים are according to just the external כלים of his body, that obviously like a a fat guy can't wear a skinny suit, but then there's like what kind of clothing are they? In other words, that these external clothing, same like the external letters, don't just Right, does he wear a suit or does he wear a cover up the internal letters, they cover they are the clothing for the internal מחשבה, you can ממש see from the external clothing Right.
the emotions and the שכל and the רצון. Is he wearing a Right, is he wearing a tuxedo, or is he wearing jeans? You can see by what he's wearing what the emotions are and what the שכל is.
You can sort of see almost if he's a smart guy or a stupid guy just by the clothing. And you can you can see ממש the רצון from the clothing.
Right. You know. So, so the same thing with these ideas. The thing is that basically what the ideas that we're getting is basically לבושים of לבושים.
You know, in other words, there's the external clothes and under that he's wearing the the first set of underwear and the second set of underwear, you know. Especially in the weather that we're having over here, for sure he's wearing a few sets of underwear, you know. Well, it must be cold up there. It must be cold up there. It's like it was two last night. All these לבושים.
It was two last night here, with a with a windchill factor of like 15 below or something like that. You know, so
the basic thing is that, and this is what it says, that משיח will teach in a in a way of ראיה. What it means ראיה means that He's going to point to it. Yeah, he's going to point to it, but that's another thing that people think. People think, "Oh, he's going to teach in a way of ראיה means he'll come, he'll make a magic, he'll make a magic on you, and all of a sudden, whoa, you'll see it."
Messiah's Teaching Through ראיה: Pointing Out Truth 31:05
You know, like it says by by, what was it, אלישע, ישעיהו that he did a thing and the guy all of a sudden saw the angels all over the place. That's not what it's talking about. It's talking that he will do it in a way that he will tell you what the things are, and then when he tells you what the things are, they'll say, "Oh, that's right, there it is."
Hidden Bunnies Illustration of Revealing Hidden Truths 31:55
Like with the bunnies, you know, in the picture. Right. You know, the ten hidden bunnies? Right. You know, and the ten hidden bunnies, the thing, it says, "Well, look look over there on the tree, you know, like see on the side there? You see those two leaves?"
And you're looking and it's up to now, it's all explanations. But basically the explanations is not just
explanations
