If you ever, if you ever see, if you ever watch any of the Richard Simmons shows, part of the show is where everybody jumps up and down to some kind of music and Richard Simmons: "Okay, everybody, jump up and down!" Right. Okay, that's half of the show. The other half the show is always the skinny lady and they show you a picture of how she used to be.

Right. Look, you see this lady. And everybody says: "Oh!" And she cries, you know. And Richard Simmons kisses her and hugs her and he cries, and says: "Oh, it's so wonderful!"

Look, she used to be 230 lb and then they bring the, they bring their old pants. Right. And they stand inside of them. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. And they stand inside of them and everybody looks. And other fat ladies, they look at this and they see they say: "Look, look at her pants. Look at my pants. I could also be like that." Right.

It's an ענין of ראיה. Right. The ראיה affects, that's why half the, all of the, and all of these shows, half the show is, and this is even not like, like you're saying well maybe they're trying to sell you on it, but it's even in the, in the actual classes where people are already sold on it. Right. They, but they already paid. Half the class, you'd think the class should be just jumping up and down.

Right. But it's not. Then there's the thing where they, where, where they, they bring ladies up on the stage who already lost weight and then they see it and they, they use these spe-, these special visual techniques like them standing inside their old pants where they stand with both legs in one In one pant. in one pant.

You know, and the other, and it looks, you know, and it's a visual thing that they see that this works. Right. It's not just It's not just an intellectual הבנה, which the intellectual הבנה they had before they went to the show. I mean before they went to the seminar and paid the money. Right. As a matter of fact, that's why they paid the money. Right. Because intellectually they knew that they should lose weight, but they couldn't bring it into ac-, into action.

Why? Because the intellectual הבנה or the השגה goes only to הוד. Right. עד הוד יסוד אבא, that's from the שכל, but

the actual התקשרות to the thing comes דווקא from אבא, meaning when you see it.

והיינו לבי ראה הרבה חכמה. ראיית השכל שבלב בשר ביסוד זה דווקא, and this is now he's talking about the same like over there you have to have the ראיה that they see it, over here also he's talking about the ראיה that it's not enough to have and this all goes back to the chapters on תבונה, by the way, if you look in chapter 2 and 3, it ties in with this.

Right. That, that it explains that ראיית השכל, what is

it, לאסתכלא ביקרא דמלכא, ובעין השכל שבלב, אתחזי כולא, that's what it says over there. And it explains that the תבונה comes דווקא from there's an ענין of the חכמה where he sees the thing. Right. In other words, it's not the same like just when he understands. There's understanding, and then there's understanding in the understanding, he gets to the עומק המושג.

תבונה and חכמה: Deeper Levels of Insight 3:53

What's the עומק המושג? The עומק המושג is that it must be so. Right. And this brings to הודאה, that you're מודה that you really should be a chassidic guy and stuff like that, but nothing will happen from it. Right. Without the תבונה. Right.

And then he says you have to have the דעת, it goes into the חכמה, the דעת is the actual התקשרות השכל into the thing, and this brings about to an actual seeing that it's not just that he understands that it must be so, but he sees that that's the way it is. Right. With the שכל.

This is not בעיני בשר we're talking about, this is with the עין of the שכל. Right. And then there's an even higher thing, and that's where the תבונה goes even deeper into the חכמה, and that's the ראיה בעיני בשר.

Ninja Analogy for Hidden Perception 4:59

Right. What's What does it mean ראיה בעיני בשר? ראיה בעיני בשר means that he can literally look on God with his physical eyes. Right. You can ask, how is that possible?

It says he has he has no גוף and he has no דמות הגוף. So, it's like if a ninja comes into the room.

You know what a ninja is? It's some kind of martial arts person, no? Yeah, but you know how they dress?

They dress all in black including including their head. Everything is covered, even their face is covered. Right. You don't see nothing.

You see a black uniform. Their hands are covered because the reason they dress like that is so they can sneak around in the dark.

Including they have a mask over their face which totally covers everything, including their mouth. What about their eyes? Their eyes, there's little holes for the eyes.

So, when when you see the ninja, you say, "Hey, there was a guy came in here." So you say, "What do you mean? You didn't see nothing, you just saw clothing."

Right. What do you mean, I didn't see clothing, I saw a guy.

Are you crazy? I saw a guy come in here, a ninja. Right. So how do you know, how do you know this?

So, that's the thing where that when he sees the world, he literally sees God. Right. Like what it says that the אלטר רבי asked the מיטעלער רבי, what did you דאווען with? And he told him, I דאווען with something of א״ק. Right. And he asked the אלטר רבי, the מיטעלער רבי asked the אלטר רבי, and you? He said, I דאווען with the סטנדר. Right. He says, what do you mean with the סטנדר?

And they explain that he ממש saw how the סטנדר is ממש Godliness. Right. It's just a לבוש חיצוני. Right. But he ממש saw it. Right. But it's not this is already not considered with the mind's eye.

This is considered with the physical eye because even like with the ninja, I mean, you don't really see the ninja, Right. you're seeing the clothing.

But it's already beyond just a thing that you're understanding logically that or even to see it with your mind's eye that there must be really somebody inside of the clothing to the point that you see that this is totally true.

It's not like that. Right. You actually see the thing. You see that there's a person there, you ממש see it, even though he's totally enclothed. Right.

And this is also what the the אלטר רבי said when he sees the physical world, he sees the actual Godliness. Right. He sees God, he ממש sees with and that's called with the physical eyes.

Right. וליבי ראה בחכמה, כי ראיית השכל שבלב בשר ביסוד ז״א

דווקא. והוא בחינת הביטול שנמשך בהבל חזה הלב in the lungs. In other words, it goes into the פנימיות המדות, when he when the actual ראיה into the thing comes all the way into the actual מדות. מה שאין כן ברעיא מהימנא בעין השכל דבליבא אתחזי כולא in in the eye of the שכל in the heart, he sees everything, which the heart, by the way, is בינה. Right.

But in the בינה, there's a deeper level which goes up, and this is all from the התבוננות after, into the into the פנימיות חכמה.

לפי שיסוד אבא ארוך משל בינה that when you see something, it affects, it goes down to יסוד, not only the height. ונמשך עד בחינת יסוד ז״א.

It goes into the actual effect, into the into the effect of the emotion which which יסוד is basically the emotion to do something, to to bring this thing out into פועל. Right.

גם לאחר שנסתלק אור הבינה and this is even after the אור הבינה is gone, even meaning that he he can still see it without once he's not מתבונן on

it. על כן נקרא יתום מאמו ולא מאביו. That's why he was a יתום only from his mother, but not from his father. He did have his father. Right. For look, מה שאין כן כמו שמבואר ביאור זה במקום אחר באריכות, והיינו גם כן ענין אלה תולדות יעקב, בחינת טיפת יסוד אבא. Meaning in יעקב, ישראל סבא. יסוד אבא

is in is in יעקב, ישראל סבא, is that there's also there's there's basically the פנימיות, it's called ישראל, and the חיצוניות, meaning נה"י, is called יעקב.

Right. And from יסוד אבא, that that that יוסף of ז"א comes from יסוד אבא. הוא יוסף יסוד ז"א, הוא, וד"ל המבין. That יסוד comes from יסוד אבא, and יסוד אבא comes down into יסוד. Right.
