The Grid of Points and Directions 0:01
It goes down, then goes to the left and goes up. Right. Right? So, that means that the that the whole thing is like all different combinations, like like they say in the brain that all the synapses are going from this one to that one, from that one to this one, from this one to that one, it's like this and like that. Right. And then within So, within each one of those four points there's eight rooms, and that's as far as he goes.
However, a room means it also has eight points. Right. That's what a room means. A room has to have eight points. It has eight points, and it has six directions. So, already you have seven מידות there. Right. Okay, and these are all שכלים. Right. These are all שכלים.
Okay, so now if you look what we have there, what we have is a grid. Right. And basically, in terms of physical reality, if you take physical reality and represent it in two dimensions, you get a you get a computer screen or a TV screen.
Basically, all a TV screen is is yes, no, no, no, yes, yes, yes, no, no, yes, yes, no, no, yes. That's all it is. Right. Except over here, it's a little bit It's It's It's It's not such a simplified computer. It's not slightly not like that 8-bit, then 16-bit, then 32-bit.
Over here, actually each point, in other words, on the on the computer screen,
what you have is really you don't have a point that can change colors. You just have points that can go on and off, and what you're really getting in order to get the different colors is you're getting clusters of three points. Right. With three colors. And what it is, the first point, position number one, is red, and that's all it can be. Right. Position number two is blue, and position number three is yellow.
I'm not sure if that's actually three colors.
But on the way that it works over here, it's a bunch of חדרים. Means that each point is not just a point, but it's a whole room. It has a room inside of it. Right. And inside the room there's a little guy, a little אייבערשטער standing in there with a לולב,
Rooms as Mini‑Worlds with a Lil‑Elohim 2:45
and he can change the color into the seven colors of the rainbow, because each ספירה has a color. Right? Right. And he does a נענועים. When he does a נענועים, you say, wait, there's only six נענועים.
Yeah, but those six נענועים include seven ספירות.
So, he can change the נענועים because the the seventh ספירה is when he brings it in. Right. Himself. Right. So, there's the forward is What, the right is חסד, the left is גבורה, the forward is תפארת, Up's נצח.
Mapping Sefirot to Cardinal Directions 3:30
Up is נצח, down is יסוד, and back is מלכות. And he himself is מלכות. No, he himself is יסוד. יסוד צדיק עולם. So, what about הוד? יסוד is the one that's left out. So, down is הוד. Huh? So, down is הוד. הוד, right. נצח and הוד, right.
Up is נצח, down is הוד, right. And himself is יסוד. And he's יסוד, צדיק עולם. And back is מלכות. And back is מלכות. Aha. Towards the west. Towards the west. מלכות is to the west, right? And himself, the לולב, is the יסוד. כל בשמים ובארץ. Right.
He's he's the one that connects the heaven and the earth. Right. And and all the four directions.
Right? Right. So, so the way it works is it's not a it's not three points to make up a color and you and you're really seeing you're not really seeing actual colors, just your eye fooling you, but it's actual each little room there there's a little guy, and it's not two Dimensional, it's three-dimensional.
Right. And there's zillions and trillions and quadrillions of these little guys. But really it's not like that. There's really only one guy. So what it means, so how does the whole thing work? If you look, if you know how the TV works,
TV Cathode‑Gun Analogy for Singular Point 5:15
on a TV there's really only one point. Right. You know how it works? It moves across, it's like It's a cathode across, right. A cathode gun. Right. There's a gun that shoots out light, you know, it's basically like a צמצום and a קו, you know? Right. There's a gun that shoots out light at the point, and then it just moves across, but really there's only one point.
Right. It's one point at a time. You say, but so how could the whole world exist? Is it like in the TV what happens is there's a lag, once the light hits that point, the point glows for a little while. Right. And the gun moves real fast,
and therefore, so you say what's so what's happening? So does it mean that this point glows for a little while even after the אייבערשטער is no longer there?
Right. You say no, no, no, what happens is like this, that He moves so fast that He can be in all the places at the same time.
Look, here it says that יסוד is מערב and מלכות is היכל הקודש באמצע. Okay, so that's where does it say that?
In this תחילת חכמה. Oh, he's also going to say that, but that's, you know, that's that's not the normal thing.
יסוד and מלכות: Westward Creation Bow 6:59
The usually מערב is is to the west. It says that the whole the whole creation bows to the west because that's where the מלכות is. מלכות is west.
And יסוד, the לולב is צדיק יסוד עולם, is a guy standing in the middle. All right. But the way, but to say it like that, that's the that's the other thing, that's מלכותך מלכות כל עולמים.
That the מלכות is is called a דלת because it spreads out to the four directions. Right. It goes from up to down, כל עולמים, meaning it goes in all the worlds, and but it makes no difference. יסוד and מלכות are sort of interchangeable.
Right. Depends how you want to look at it. So you could say that יסוד is in the west, and you can say מלכות is in the west. Right. Where the usual thing, if you look in most places, it says that מלכות is in the west, that's why the בית המקדש went towards the west, and it says צדיק יסוד עולם. The little guy Right. is יסוד. Right. The צדיק that's standing in the סוכה is this is צדיק יסוד עולם.
Right. So the the the little guy that's standing in the סוכה is יסוד. And also it says כי כל בשמים ובארץ, the one who brings it, who makes the connections between the directions, is יסוד. Right. He's the one who brings it from the heaven to the earth, and also from the right to the left, Right.
and from the forward to the back. You know, and that's also בשמים ובארץ means from up to down, it also means from right to left because שמים means אש ומים, ובארץ and to מלכות, from תפארת to מלכות. Right. So, and that's כל. כל is what does it, and that's why he's called everything.
He can he can do everything, he can make you any color that you want. Right. And the thing in מלכות also, מלכות also can have everything. In other words, all the final colors, the actual expression to the outside, in other words, the point that you finally see on the screen, you can call that מלכות because that's what it is. That's the final point that comes out is מלכות.
Right. And it has nothing from itself, it has whatever יסוד told it to be. Right. If he said she's green, then she's green. Right. If he said she's blue, then she's blue.
Right. Whatever he said she is, that's what she is,
you know? Right. And that's basically the grid. The grid means and that's the way inside your brain, inside your brain, that's the way your brain thinks also. It thinks in directions.
Intellectual → Emotional → Physical Direction Flow 9:48
So, in other words, over here you see how the physical directions, which actually makes sense, you see that the physical directions come out of the intellectual directions Right. and the emotional directions. Right. like this and like that, right? Right.
What does that have to do with right and left? The thing is it does have to. The the emotional directions are connected to the actual and and the actually the final physical directions come out of the emotional directions, which come out of the intellectual directions, right, which come out of directions from a higher up, right. And the whole thing is from the קו, right.
Okay, so you see how the grid, there's a grid in your mind basically, and it also goes in your heart, so that when you're feeling, your feeling of up and down is you feel that you have How do you feel that you have an up and down? If you if you if you if you sit back and look, you see that you feel that you have a head, and you have a heart, and you have a תחת, right.
That's what you feel. That's your feeling of up and down, right? The main thing of that is that you have a head and you have a heart because the קישקעס and the נה"י is included in the חג"ת, right. So that's the whole thing of up and down is also in there, and that's up and down, that the up of the brain comes down into the heart.
Okay. All
right, what time is it now? Hello? Yeah,
I'm looking it over. It's starting a whole big new ענין over here. I'm not going to be able to You can't get into it, so you can stop right here. Yeah, this is a this is a Continue tomorrow. because now it's starting a whole new ענין really.
All right. It's like two chapters almost. Right. It's basically two ענינים here. Right. Okay, but one of the things, I don't know if he's going to explain it in this chapter, I think it's in a later chapter, he explains that I think it's in a later chapter, he explains that this is also the ענין of the צדיק, is that in a צדיק, and this is caused דווקא by the התבוננות, the the opening up of the דעת into two brains, right, because in a normal person, the דעת is just one brain, it's emotion, right.
דעת as One Brain vs Two‑Brain Split 13:07
And even though emotion is made up of
two things, but if it's if it's not a brain, if it's by a normal person who doesn't do התבוננות where there's no analysis, and it's just התפעלות, right, it's התפעלות like an animal, and that's why he's called an animal, right, that's why it says that somebody that doesn't do התבוננות is an animal, why? Because he has only one brain of דעת.
But in a in a a person who does התבוננות, the brain of דעת opens up into two brains, right. When the brain of דעת opens up into two brains, the brain immediately opens up into 32 brains. It's automatic, right. In other words, it's not just a matter the the the דעת opens up. So so a normal person has three brains. That's all the brains he has, right.
He has three brains. And and and and a person that does התבוננות, since the brain of דעת opens up into two brains and he has four brains, so he immediately has 32 brains, right. And then immediately the ל"ב שבילין go down into the heart, and in the heart, there become another 32, right. But not מדות, brains, right. There's 32 more brains, so that so that now he has 64 brains, right.
That means he has more than twenty times the brainpower
of a normal person. And that's just in quality in quantity, we didn't even talk about quality yet. Right. Just in quantity, he has more than twenty times more because the other guy has three brains and he has more than sixty brains, he has sixty-four brains. Right. And these are all brains. Right. Because the thirty-two in the heart is also brains. Right. Okay, that's in terms of quantity.
But then there's also a matter of quality, that what happens is that his brains, the brains in his brain become hot and his heart becomes cold. Right. What does it mean? What is he like, you know, like there's a song, your cold, cold heart. So what does it mean, he becomes a cold-hearted person? It says no, his מידות don't boil over.
Right. His מידות are על פי שכל. Right. But his שכל is now hot. Right. Not a cold, logical brain anymore, it's a fire. Right. So it's not only just thirty times more, it's totally שלא בערך. Right. Because it's not just a cold, logical brain.
Brains on Fire, Heart Cold – True Elevation 16:35
This guy's on fire. Right. His brain is on fire. Right. Meaning that it's not just that light is coming into his brain from somebody somewhere else, but he is a light himself, he's a מאור, a fire. Right. He actually makes light.
He's a fire, and his brain is on fire. Why? Because it's an ענין of דעת, he's totally connected to the thing. He has total interest. Right. And he's totally fired up with this thing, and it's a known thing even with a little bit of דעת, like the normal דעת, if you if you actually have the actual דעת into it, it's it's שלא בערך the regular thinking.
And this guy has sixty-four brains, and they're all on fire. Right. And his heart, meaning not the brains in his heart, the brains in his heart are also on fire. Right. But his heart heart, the emotional thing, is now cold to the point that the emotions can't interfere. Interfere with anything, because usually the emotions are on fire and the brain is cold. Right. By him, the brain is on fire and the thing is, he doesn't have a cold heart actually, just the opposite, his heart is on fire, because his heart has thirty-two brains in it that are on fire.
So he doesn't have a cold heart, he has a hot heart, more than not just a warm heart, but he's totally on fire, there's thirty-two fiery brains in there, which it's a known thing that a light of a brain is much more than a light of a heart.
But the external heart is now cold. It's a known thing that the light of a what? A brain is more than a light of of a heart. Yeah, okay.
The שכל is what's called a light. Right. So his his heart becomes also a fire, it's not that he has a cold heart actually, just the opposite, he's totally on fire, even his heart is on fire. Right. And this is the actual התפעלות. Right. This only comes through התבוננות. And this is the התפעלות, not what what other people think, this is the התפעלות. This is the real התפעלות that we're going for, and all the other things is just The פנימיותדיקע thing rather than a חיצוניותדיקע.
This חיצוניות התפעלות is also, like of the בכיות and stuff like that, but that's nothing compared to this. Right. There's, in other words, there's a התפעלות right at the beginning, whether it's התבוננות there's התפעלות, but there's a התפעלות of מחשבה חמה, of the בכיות, but the real התפעלות means when he becomes all the way with sixty-four brains. And it says that
a תלמיד חכם that has more than one sixty-fourth of גאוה is called a גס רוח. What does that mean? It means Means that
a גס is sixty-three, means he only has sixty-three brains, and it means that really, since he only has sixty-three brains, he doesn't have sixty-three, really he really only has three brains. He doesn't have sixty-four brains.
Right. He's a גס רוח. He just thinks he has sixty He thinks he has sixty-four brains. Right. But since since he doesn't have the the one-sixty- that he has more than one-sixty-fourth of גאוה, but the thing is actually the the the thing is like this: it really means also like this, if he doesn't have that one-sixty-fourth of גאוה,
it also shows that he's a גס רוח, because he doesn't have that that the sixty-fourth brain. Right. Which, the sixty-fourth brain, that's the main brain of חסידות. That's the brain of גאוה with חסידות.
Right. כי בזאת יתהלל המתהלל. And it's called the brain that's ויגבה לבו בדרכי ה'. Right. And it's in the heart, because ויגבה לבו.
And what it is, is that when it comes to an attack on חסידות, and on Godliness, and on יידישקייט, and on the רבי, and stuff like that,
all of a sudden, he's not five cents anymore. Right. He turns into a werewolf. And he becomes super haughty,
and will just totally knock the other guy down. Right.
And basically, this thing here is actually a sign of humility. That's the sign of humility. And this is the thing that most people don't understand this. You go against the אייבערשטער, it's a whole different story.
So, if we're talking about will would be like a guy, or whatever, so he's very humble. Right. But if we're talking about Reform and Conservative, there's nothing to talk about with him. The guy becomes a total totally arrogant. He says, "These people are not rabbis, and only I'm right."
Basically, what what he's telling you is totally arrogant. But that's really דווקא דווקא that's the sign of arrogance, it shows that the guy's a גס רוח. He doesn't have the sixty-fourth brain.
Right. Why? Because he doesn't When there's an affront to the אייבערשטער, he doesn't get fired up. And that's the thing. They say, "What do you mean? How could you say such a thing?" So you say, "Look, look look through the history. Look at מתתיהו."
Historical Humble Heroes: מתתיהו and מרדכי 23:04
Right. Look at מתתיהו. מתתיהו is this humble little guy, you know, like like this rabbi, it's, "Oh, hello, how are you?" And then it came like that, he took a sword, and he killed them he killed a גוי and the Jew in front of everybody, took a sword Old man, took a sword and killed them. Right. No talking.
Nothing. Same thing with מרדכי. מרדכי was a very humble guy. What do you think, מרדכי wasn't humble? מרדכי was the רבי. He was a very humble guy. But when המן came up and was an affront to the אייבערשטער, לא יכרע ולא ישתחוה.
All the Jews were telling him, the the the
the the guy, this is המן, I mean you're going to make
him mad. He said, "I don't care." Right. "He's
going to listen to me." And and you
think they didn't tell him, "What are you doing?
What, are you crazy?" You know. Right. And that's
what מתתיהו says, "Everybody who's for the
