Changing One’s מדות Requires Reaching Into אריך 0:00

מדות of אריך, and he's actually going to change them. Right. In other words, when when the the second level of חכמה is there, he's actually looking into what the רצון should be. Right. In terms of the מדות, what the רצון for the מדות should be, so really he's reaching up to to the to the זרועות of אריך which are מלובש inside of of his חכמה and בינה.

Right. Which, by the way, there's always a level like this. In everybody there's a certain fanaticism. Like in Americans, they'll they'll tell you that, well, America is the thing. It's by them a הנחה שכלית because their רצון is like that. Right. You know. Right. And then the third level is just your normal day-to-day שכל, that basically he's not looking into what is it what what's life all about or what is it all about or what's God or anything like that.

Certainly not looking into that. And he's not even looking into what should my morality be or something like that. Right. Or or to reevaluate the actual מדות. The מדות are already evaluated.

so the whole מהות of the thing, what the thing that makes it into like חכמה, בינה is not so much from the light, even though the light really also the light of חכמה and the light of בינה, but that's not really what makes it the thing, it's more the כלים that make it what it is. זה שאמר אפיקת עשר תקונין וקרינן לון עשר ספירן, that's why it says, דוקא the תקונים means the the enclothments, that's really what's called a ספירה.

ובלשון הזוהר, כלל עשר ספירות נקרא רזא דשמא קדישא בלבד. It's called the the secret of the holy name. כידוע, הכול הוא רק מצד בחינת הכלים דווקא. All it is, it's דווקא the כלים.

וביאור הדברים, ידוע המאמר דתלת שליטין לעילא, מוחא וליבא וכבדא. There's three controllers: the brain, the heart, and the liver. And that's basically the the head, the the upper torso, and the the lower torso, which is basically the the three systems that run the body: is the brains,

the ליבא is the heart and the lungs, which is the part that inspires the air into the body. And the liver means the whole what do you call it? I don't know what you call, what do you call it in English, כלי העיכול? Digestive tract. Digestive digestive tract. Digestive system. The digestive system, right. In other words, you have the nervous system, you have the cardiovascular system, The The cardiovascular includes the lungs?

Right. וכולי, or the what they call the gut emotions, the gut feelings. Right. וכולו, שהן בחינת ג' כלים לנר"נ, נשמה במוחא ורוחא בליבא ונפש בכבדא וכולו.

אבל בחינת חיה יחידה הוא למעלה מהגבלת כלים וכולו. ובחינת ובחינת הכלים כולם הם ראש תוך סוף. The way the כלים are made is there's the head, the inside, and the end, which the the head is the real inside. It means the the the פנימיות, the middle, and outside. ראש תוך סוף. שהוא פנימיות הכלים is ראש, אמצעיות הכלים is the תוך, וחיצוניות הכלים, which is סוף. וידוע בענין רמ"ח איברים דמלכא שתשע ספירות שבבחינת ז"א שתשע פעמים What does it say, שתשע פעמים?

ט', תשע פעמים ט'. Nine times nine equals 81. Wait, but it says that, ש-? Yeah, שתשע פעמים ט' עולה פ"א. Oh, it doesn't say that there. Nine times nine equals 81.

והוא כללות ענין כלים דז״א שנקרא גופא דמלכא,

וגם לבושין תיקונא דשלחן דמינהון פרחין נשמתין וכולו.

So the נשמתין of people come from the לבושים of the כלים of the גופא דמלכא. What are the לבושים? מחשבה, דיבור, מעשה, וכולו, כמו שיתבאר and this will be explained later. כמו שיתבאר הכל, later he'll explain everything. ואמנם הנה ענין אור וכלי, so that's the particulars, now but in general the whole thing of אור וכלי דרך כלל, אגם שיש בו הרבה אופנים שונים מאד, there's many different ways of explaining it and very many different ways of what it's talking about, אך כללותו על דרך אור והחיות הרוחני של ראיה רוחנית שמתלבש וממוזג בגשם בכלי חומר העין, like that, like the אברים, אברים דמלכא, like that's what that's what it's talking about, like the life force is the light, and when it encloses in the eye, it becomes a thing of seeing.

האחד, שינוי המהות מרוחניות לגשמיות, שהראיה גשמית יתפוס בגשם, מה שאין כן ברוחניות, אור הראיה. וכן אור וכח השכל הרוחני הממוזג בגשם כלי המוח,

עד שנקרא התחכמות. So the real thing of כלים

is not so much like a glass. The real ביאור of כלים is like organs

with the life force in them, that's the real ביאור. וכן אור וכח השכל הרוחני הממוזג בגשם כלי המוח עד שנקרא התחכמות. And then the light is called התחכמות. וכח התנועה בתנועה גשמית כהאי גוונא, and that becomes תנועה.

כהאי גוונא, כח הצמיחה רוחניות שהורכב ומלובש בצמיחה גשמית בגשם הצומח. So that's one thing, that it changes over from רוחניות to גשמיות, and the other thing,

והב׳, ענין ההגבלה והשיעור שבחומר, דהכלי הכלי מוגבל ונמדד בשיעור, כמו בראיה גשמית עד ס׳ מיל.
